Surrounding yourself with people who already have what you want

One of the absolute number one pieces of advices I would have for someone who wants to change themselves in any way is to bring into their lives people who already has the traits which they want.

This advice is as valuable as a truck-load of diamond dust – if you only do one thing from any of my articles it should be to follow this advice. In this article I will discuss the whys and hows about this process.

I make a great effort to get high-quality individuals in my life who have skills and lifestyles which are similiar to the ones I want myself. My relationships are based on absolute value exchange, I offer as much value as I can in all interactions and the closer people get to me, the more value I offer.

Dealing with rejection, failure or stumbling blocks – the power of acceptance

Occasionally bad things do happen and there's little you can do about that. What you need is a way of getting over those things as quickly and effectively as possible. There’s no sense in sugar-coating these things too much. Some people may call a problem a challenge, or may think of a negative occurrence as a test – that’s all well and good but whatever way you look at it these are things which can affect you in a negative manner.

Sometimes these things will come completely out of the blue. You can just be minding your own business, and something comes along and hits you squarely on the nose. It could be something minor, or it could be something major, something which could set you back a little.

At other times negative things can happen in response to something you have tried to do. I.E. a sense of rejection or failure could arise when a proposal is rejected, or if a job interview doesn’t work out, or in many other situations.

Planning a move to another country - permanent relocation from England to Spain!

The Spanish FlagIn a few months time I’ll be leaving my safe, secure and financially stable office job in South Yorkshire, selling almost everything which I own, jumping in my Car with a laptop and some clothes, and driving the 3 day drive down to Spain.

So far I haven’t been too personal with my articles on this website. Most of them are my advice to you, as a reader, using techniques which I have found to be highly valuable in my own awesome journey.

Well that’s going to change with this post – I’m going to give you some insight into my life and one of the major things I’m working on this year.

I am, after twenty seven years of living in the UK, going to up shop and move abroad this year. The first destination is Spain, and I’m planning on being there for at least a year. That means I’ll be living and working in Spain on what you may as well call a permanent basis.
